The ultra-high-pressure pumps of the Y series are particularly compact. Their small size and low weight make them easy to install in units with very small base frames. With operating pressures of up to 1000 bar, the Y-series pumps are ideally suited for a wide variety of cleaning tasks, e.g. in the chemical industry, the oil and gas industry and in the field of ship cleaning. The sealing water system used prevents leakage, enables particularly high durability of the high-pressure seals and prevents air ingress. Optionally, Y-series pumps can be equipped with suction valve lifts. This elegant alternative to a bypass valve allows water to circulate when there is no pressure in the pump head and the water tool is not operated. An alternative is the pump with coated steel plungers, which increases wear resistance and resistance to temperature shocks. WOMA also supplies ceramic plungers for the Y series, which are highly resistant to acids and alkaline liquids. All gearboxes of WOMA pumps have an integrated oil cooling system.
